Edit Multiple Packages in a Discrete Unit Batch

You can edit the name, number of units, net mass or gross mass of multiple packages in a discrete unit batch.

Security Note: You need the Allow discrete unit maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Copy comma-separated data in a text editor or columns of data in an Excel spreadsheet.
  2. Open the Discrete Unit Batch.
  3. In the Packages table, right-click the column that corresponds to the first column of copied data of the first package to be edited and select Paste Values From Clipboard from the menu.
  4. If the copied data is ambiguous; for example, if the copied data has only 2 columns, but the package name was right-clicked, a confirmation dialog box displays. The column that was right-clicked is preselected. Select other columns into which to paste the data as required.

Important: Preserve Tare Mass functionality is disabled when data is pasted for the net mass or the gross mass. MineMarket recalculates the tare mass of each package based on the new values for the net mass and gross mass.

Note: The number of rows of data on the clipboard determines the maximum number of packages that are edited. If the bottom row of the packages table is reached, remaining rows on the clipboard are not used.

  5. Click Save.
