Lock or Unlock a Package Group

Locking a package group makes most of its screen read-only, even if the package group is in a status that is defined as editable. See View or Change Package Group Status.

Sample data and status transitions can be entered for a locked package group.

Security Note: You need the Allow package group maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps (via the package group)

1. Open the Package Group (Bulk) or Package Group (DU).
2. To lock the package group, check Locked.
3. To unlock the package group, uncheck Locked.
4. Click Save.
