View Traceability for a Mine Source
Security Note: Assuming you can view the mine source, no specific security right is required for this activity.
Activity Steps
- Open the Mine Source.
- In the Criteria field group, select the Start Date and End Date for the data to display.
Note: You can set default date criteria for mine sources and stockpiles. If configured, your default dates automatically populate these fields. See Set Default Date Criteria.
- Select the Traceability tab.
- Update the Traceability View if required. Default: As specified on the Options screen. See Configure the Traceability Display.
- If the Traceability View is Diagram:
- Select the Date Range. Default: The Start Date and End Date selected in the Criteria field group.
- Select Show Destinations.
- Select a UOM from the Mass units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor to control the unit used in the traceability display. If no value is selected, MineMarket uses the UOM from the Details field group on the Current State tab of the mine source. Changing the traceability UOM does not affect the UOM on the Current State tab. A selected value is saved and applied the next time you view the mine source's traceability.
- Select an Analyte Group to display analyte values for selected diagram nodes if required. Select from the analyte groups defined on the Quality panel of the Solution Explorer.
- Select the Method from Closing Balance and Movements (that is, transactions).
- Select a Despatch Order to limit the display if required.
- If the Traceability View is Sankey:
- Select the Date Range. Default: The Start Date and End Date selected in the Criteria field group.
- Select Show Destinations.
- Select a UOM from the Mass units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor to control the unit used in the traceability display. If no value is selected, MineMarket uses the UOM from the Details field group on the Current State tab of the mine source. Changing the traceability UOM does not affect the UOM on the Current State tab. A selected value is saved and applied the next time you view the mine source's traceability.
- Select the Method from Closing Balance and Movements (that is, transactions).
- If the Traceability View is Tree Grid:
- Select the Date Range. Default: The Start Date and End Date selected in the Criteria field group.
- Select Show Destinations.
- Select whether to Show Analytes. If checked, a column displays for each analyte that has quality data.
- Select a UOM from the Mass units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor to control the unit used in the Mass column. If no value is selected, MineMarket uses the UOM from the Details field group on the Current State tab of the mine source. Changing the traceability UOM does not affect the UOM on the Current State tab. A selected value is saved and applied the next time you view the mine source's traceability.
- If Show Analytes is checked, select whether to Show Analyte Content. If checked, a column displays for each analyte that has Show Content Basis checked in the Analyte Definition Editor. Disabled if no analytes are configured to show content basis.
- Select whether to Show Stockpile Paths. If unchecked, only the stockpile name displays.
- Select an Analyte Group to limit the display if required. Select from the analyte groups defined on the Quality panel of the Solution Explorer.
- Select a Contributor Group to limit the display if required. Select from the contributor groups defined on the Quality panel of the Solution Explorer.
- Edit the Maximum Query Levels if required. If left blank, all levels of traceability data display.
- Select despatch methods to Stop at Despatches if required. Limits the display to the traceability data up to the selected despatch method(s). Select from Direct, Service Trip, Shipment, Train and Truck Despatch.
- Click Refresh.
The traceability display is interactive. The available actions depend on the selected view.
- Explore traceability using the following actions in each view:
- Diagram—Click the expand (+) icon on a node to display its destinations. If an Analyte Group is selected, click a node to display its analyte values in the section to the left of the diagram. Right-click the diagram and select Collapse All from the menu to collapse all expanded nodes. Hover over a destination to display its quality or balance as a tooltip. Double-click a diagram icon to open the associated object. Hold down the Ctrl key while rotating the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
- Sankey—Displays material flow as colour-coded links between source and destination nodes. Thicker links indicate larger quantities, and each link is labelled with the mass moved. Hold down the Ctrl key while rotating the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
- Tree Grid—Expand or collapse nodes in the tree to navigate the traceability hierarchy. Right-click a row and select Expand All or Collapse All from the menu to expand or collapse child nodes, or select Open from the menu to open the destination object.
