View the Current State of a Stockpile

The current state is based on data from stockpile surveys and transactions.

Security Note: Assuming you can view the stockpile, no specific security right is required for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the WAG Stockpile, FIFO Stockpile, LIFO Stockpile or 3D Stockpile.
2. Select the Current State tab.
3. In the Criteria field group, select the Start Date and End Date for the data to display.
4. Click Refresh (in the Criteria field group).

   The following fields display data for both wet (as received) and dry bases:

   • Opening Balance
   • Total In—Stacking transactions for the stockpile.
   • Total Out—Reclaiming transactions for the stockpile.
   • Adjustments—As a result of surveys. For the dry basis:

     Dry tonnes adjustment = Dry tonnes Closing + Dry tonnes Out - Dry tonnes In - Dry tonnes Opening

     If any of the values on the right-hand side of the equation are null because of a null moisture value, the dry tonnes adjustment is null because the expression cannot be calculated. A tooltip displays the reason why the value cannot be calculated and the background colour of the field is changed.

   • Closing Balance

   The quality displays in the Quality table.

   Analyte Content only displays for analytes that have Show Content Basis enabled in the Analyte Definition Editor, and then only if the content can be calculated. For example, if an analyte's Basis is Dry, then the quality information (for example, stockpile survey, transaction sample) must include a value for moisture. Note that analyte content may not be based on weight; for example, can be based on energy.

   The Value Source is the source of the analyte value, in order of precedence:

   • No Assumptions
   • Assume Source
   • Assume Product
   • Assume Defaults
   • Assume Calculated
   • Assume Retained
   • Result type name—Values from transaction samples
   • Surveyed—Values from a stockpile survey
