Associate a Sample with Package Movements

This activity is only applicable to samples for a discrete unit movement flow.

If you create a sample via a movement editor or despatch, the sample is already associated with at least one movement. Use this activity if the sample needs to be associated with additional movements; for example, across a shift.

Security Note: You need the Allow sample maintenance security right in the Samples security group for a domain assigned to the user group.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Sample.
2. Select the Package Movements tab.

   Note: This tab only displays if the sample is already associated with a discrete unit movement.

3. Uncheck Related Movements Only.
4. Update the Start Date and End Date if required.
5. Click Refresh.

   Package movements across the same movement flow as the sample and not already associated with a sample display.

6. Check Related for the required package movements.
7. Click Save.
