Create a Production and Demand Plan
Security Note: You need the Allow planning maintenance security right in the Planning domain security rights group for this activity.
Activity Steps
- Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
- Expand the Planning » Plan Categories node.
- Right-click a production and demand plan category and select New » Plan from the menu.
The Plan displays with the Configuration tab selected.
Note: The plan must be configured before the other tabs can be accessed.
- Update the Name if required.
- Complete the following fields.
- Plan Start Date—The plan start date must be set prior to working with the plan.
- Plan End Date—The start and end dates must be different.
- Select whether to Exclude From Plan Roll-ups. If checked, the plan may not display actual values and the Roll Up Plans button is disabled for the plan. If unchecked, the plan is included whenever plans are rolled up. Default: Unchecked.
- Click Save.
