View Production and Demand Plan Data by Location

This activity is only applicable if:

• The location has stockpiles with tonnage, quality and contributor details (via a survey or transaction).
• A production and demand plan has planned production amounts for the location.
• The production and demand plan is configured for the same product as the stockpiles at the location.

Security Note: Assuming you can view the location, no specific security right is required for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Mine Location, Stock Location, Waste Location, Rail Siding, Truck Location, Barge Terminal or Port Location.
2. Enter the following search criteria as required.
   • Start Date
   • End Date
3. To view the data as a table:
   1. Select the Planning vs Actual tab.

      Data displays for the selected date range from all production and demand plans that include the location.

      Note: The Planned Balance and Actual Balance are in the unit of measure specified as the Plan UOM in the general settings for that plan.

   2. To filter the plans displayed by product, check or uncheck each Product in the Products field group as required.
   3. To filter the plans displayed, check or uncheck each Plan in the Plans field group as required.
4. To view the data as charts:
   1. Select the Chart tab.

      A chart displays for each product.

   2. To modify the appearance of the charts:
      1. Right-click the chart and select Show Wizard from the menu.

         The Chart Wizard displays.

      2. Select the Series tab.
      3. Select the products and brands to be displayed as a line on the chart.
      4. Edit other chart properties as required.
      5. Click Accept.
   3. To save the set of charts as a BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG or TIFF image, right-click the charts and select Save To File from the menu.
