Copy a Supply and Demand Plan

This activity also locks the original plan.

Security Note: You need the Allow Supply and Demand Plan Lock security right in the Planning domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Planning » SD Plan Categories node.
3. Right-click the supply and demand plan and select Copy from the menu.

   A prompt for the start date of the new plan displays.

4. Enter the Start Date.

   After the start date has been set, it cannot be changed. Past dates cannot be used as the start date.

5. Click OK.

   The SD Plan Configuration screen of the new plan displays.

   Note: The new plan inherits the same configuration as the original plan. Any data (for example, scheduled shipments, product delivery quantities, cell comments) that is after the start date of the new plan is also inherited.

6. Click Save.
