Enter Planned Movements by Location or Process Flow

Security Note: You need the Allow planned movement modifications security right in the Planning domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Planned Movements screen for the location or process flow.
  2. Select the Movements tab.
  3. Right-click and select New from the menu.
  4. Complete the following fields as required.
    • Start Date—Not used in the comparison with actual movements, but must be before the end date.
    • End Date—Date and time used for comparison with actual movements.
    • Source Stockpile—Select from the stockpiles defined on the Supply Chain panel of the Solution Explorer and that are at the selected location, or at the source location of the selected process flow.
    • Destination Stockpile—Select from the stockpiles on the Supply Chain panel of the Solution Explorer and that are at a destination location of any process flow.

      Note: If entering planned movements for a process flow, but the selected destination stockpile is at the destination of a different process flow, the planned movement can be entered and saved; however, it only displays on the Planned Movements screen of the relevant process flow.

    • Mass
    • Unit—Select from the Mass units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor.
    • Movement Product—Optional. Select from the products and brands defined on the Material panel of the Solution Explorer. If Auto Populate Product is checked for the process flow, the following defaults apply.

  5. Click Save.
