Set up a Mine Plan Category

Mine plans must belong to a mine plan category or sub-category. For example, mine plans can be categorised by year, type of organisation or budget year.

Security Note: You need the Allow planning maintenance security right in the Planning domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Planning node.
3. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. To set up a top-level mine plan category, right-click the Mine Plan node and select New » Mine Plan Category from the menu.
   2. To set up a mine plan sub-category, right-click a mine plan category and select New » Mine Plan Category from the menu.
4. Update the name of the mine plan category node if required.
5. Click Save.
