Create a Tug

Security Note: You need the Allow tug maintenance security right in the Tugs domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Transport panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Tugs node.
3. Right-click a tug type and select New » Tug from the menu.

   The Tug displays.

4. Update the Tug Name if required.

   If you change the tug name after the tug has been saved for the first time, a record is added to the Previous Names table.

5. Complete the following fields as required.
   • IMO Number—International Maritime Organisation (IMO) number of the tug.
   • Country of Origin—Select from the countries enabled in the Country Editor.
   • Year Built
   • Lloyds Number
   • Dead Weight—Measured in tonnes.
   • Horse Power
   • Tug Notes
6. Click Save.
