Set up a Barge Transport Class

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to edit barge configuration security right in the Transport Configuration user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Barge Configuration.

   The Unit is Metric Tonnes.

2. Right-click in the table and select New from the menu.
3. Complete the following fields as required.
   • Name
   • Maximum Tonnes—Maximum amount of material, in the nominated unit of measure, a barge of this class is capable of holding.
   • Default Lot Tonnes—Amount of material, in the nominated unit of measure, loaded onto the barge for which one sample must be taken for quality assurance.
4. Click Save.
