Set up an Equipment Group
An equipment item can exist as a member of multiple equipment groups.
Security Note: You need the Allow equipment maintenance security right in the Equipment domain security rights group for this activity.
Activity Steps
- Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
- Expand the Equipment node.
- Right-click the Equipment Groups node and select New » Equipment Group from the menu.
- Update the name of the equipment group node if required.
- Expand the Equipment » Equipment Categories node.
- Drag required equipment items onto the Equipment Group node.
- To reorder equipment items, right-click an equipment item and select Move First, Move Up, Move Down or Move Last from the menu as required.
- Click Save.
