Set up an Equipment Item
Security Note: You need the Allow equipment maintenance security right in the Equipment domain security rights group for this activity.
Activity Steps
- Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
- Expand the Equipment » Equipment Categories node.
- Right-click an equipment category and select New » Equipment from the menu.
The Equipment displays.
- Update the Name if required.
- Complete the following fields as required.
- Description
- Make—Select from the Equipment Make list items defined in the List Editor.
- Model—Select from the Equipment Model list items defined in the List Editor.
- Capacity and Unit—Select from the Volume units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor.
- Target Repair Time and Unit—Select from the Time units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor.
- Owner Organisation—Select from the organisations and companies defined on the Organisations panel of the Solution Explorer.
- Asset Number
- Serial Number
- Operational Start Time
- Operational End Time
- Click Save.
