Incident Definitions

An incident is a delay or disruption that affects the efficiency or productivity of mining operations.

Preconfigured incident types, specifying the operating capacity when such an incident occurs, can be set up for containers, trains, trucks, barges, vessels or equipment.

Delay Incidents

A delay is a disruption or pause that impacts the availability or operational capacity of a despatch, supply train/ship, container or equipment item.

When a delay is recorded, the incident can have a recorded start and end date and time, and can be linked to another incident that caused the delay. Despatch delays can be considered when updating route point times (such as estimated time of arrival) on the despatch. See Record a Delay for a Despatch, Record a Delay for a Supply Train or Ship, Record a Delay for a Container or Record a Delay for an Equipment Item.

Equipment Incidents

If an equipment item is associated with vessels, process flows, movement flows, planned or actual transactions or movements (that is, despatch loading/unloading), the recorded incident can be reported for the various activities.
