Create a Rail Wagon

Security Note: You need the Allow train maintenance security right in the Trains domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Transport panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Trains » Rail Wagons node.
3. Right-click a rail wagon type and select New » Rail Wagon from the menu.

   The Rail Wagon displays.

4. Complete the following fields as required.
   • Name
   • Min Capacity—Minimum capacity. Default: The minimum carrying capacity of the rail wagon type.
   • Capacity—Expected capacity. Default: The carrying capacity of the rail wagon type.
   • Max Capacity—Maximum capacity. Default: The maximum carrying capacity of the rail wagon type.
   • Capacity Unit—Select from the Mass units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor.
   • Tare Mass
   • Tare Mass Unit—Select from the Mass units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor.
5. Click Save.
