Record Berth Unavailability

Security Note: You need the Allow location maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Berth.
  2. Select the Berth Unavailability tab.
  3. To create a berth unavailability record:
    1. Right-click in the Berth Unavailability field group and select New from the menu.
    2. Complete the following fields as required.
      • Reason
      • Unavailable From—Date and time from which the berth is unavailable.
      • Unavailable To—Date and time up to which the berth is unavailable.
      • Equipment—Select from the equipment items defined on the Supply Chain panel of the Solution Explorer.
  4. To delete a berth unavailability record, right-click the record in the Berth Unavailability field group and select Delete from the menu.
  5. To link the berth unavailability to an incident:
    1. Enter the Start Date and End Date if required.
    2. Click Search or press F3.

      The incident records that match the criteria display in the Caused by Delays field group.

    3. Check Selected for the incidents that are deemed responsible for causing the berth unavailability.
  6. Click Save.
