Record Berth Unavailability
Security Note: You need the Allow location maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.
Activity Steps
- Open the Berth.
- Select the Berth Unavailability tab.
- To create a berth unavailability record:
- Right-click in the Berth Unavailability field group and select New from the menu.
- Complete the following fields as required.
- Reason
- Unavailable From—Date and time from which the berth is unavailable.
- Unavailable To—Date and time up to which the berth is unavailable.
- Equipment—Select from the equipment items defined on the Supply Chain panel of the Solution Explorer.
- To delete a berth unavailability record, right-click the record in the Berth Unavailability field group and select Delete from the menu.
- To link the berth unavailability to an incident:
- Enter the Start Date and End Date if required.
- Click Search or press F3.
The incident records that match the criteria display in the Caused by Delays field group.
- Check Selected for the incidents that are deemed responsible for causing the berth unavailability.
- Click Save.
