Specify Port Entitlements

Port entitlements are the rights or privileges related to the use of port facilities, including the capacity and shareholding of the port location by various organisations, companies or districts.

Security Note: You need the Allow location maintenance security right in the Supply Chain user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the Supply Chain panel in the Solution Explorer.
  2. Expand the Supply Chain » Business Areas node.
  3. Right-click the port location and select Entitlements from the menu.

    The Entitlements screen displays.

  4. To specify port capacity:
    1. Right-click in the Port Capacity field group and select New from the menu.
    2. Select the Applicable Date.
    3. Enter the Capacity in tonnes.
  5. To specify port share-holding:
    1. Right-click in the Shareholding field group and select New from the menu.
    2. Select the Applicable Date.
    3. Select the Organisations panel in the Solution Explorer.
    4. Expand the Organisation node or the Internal Companies node.
    5. Drag each required organisation, company or district into the Shareholding field group.
    6. For each organisation, company or district, complete the following fields.
      • Shares Held
      • Tonnage Allowance
  6. Click Save.
  7. To view the breakdown of port shareholding:
    1. By shares or tonnage allowance, check Percent.
    2. By shares or tonnage allowance, uncheck Percent.
