Configure Shipment Draft Parameters

Security Note: You need the Allow to maintain shipment draft parameters security right in the Transport Configuration user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Shipment Draft Parameters.
2. To create a new shipment draft parameter:
   1. Right-click in the Draft Parameters table and select New from the menu.
   2. Complete the following fields as required.
      • Name
      • Description
      • Draft UOM—Select from the Length units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor.
      • Mass UOM—Select from the Mass units defined in the Unit Conversion Editor.
      • Mass Auto Update Mode—Update mode for the mass measurement in the draft parameter. Select from:
      • None (default)
      • Draft Survey—When a draft survey is created, the draft parameter mass is updated to match the quantity of the latest draft survey for the despatch route point.
      • Active Load Plan—When a loading plan is made active, the draft parameter mass is updated to match the total quantity of the active loading plan for the despatch route point.
3. To duplicate a shipment draft parameter:
   1. Right-click in the Draft Parameters table and select Duplicate from the menu.
   2. Update the fields as required.
4. To reorder shipment draft parameters, right-click a parameter and select Move First, Move Up, Move Down or Move Last as required.

   Note: The order of the parameters in the Draft Parameters table determines the display order when selecting default draft parameters for a shipment template.

5. To delete a shipment draft parameter, right-click the parameter and select Delete from the menu.

   Note: A shipment draft parameter can only be deleted if it is not referenced by any shipment templates or shipments.

6. Click Save.
