Create a Lot Despatch

Security Note: You need the Allow lot despatch maintenance security right in the Lot Despatches domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Lot Despatch Explorer.
2. Right-click and select New from the menu.

   The Lot Despatch displays.

3. Update the lot despatch Name and Lot Date if required.
4. Enter the Reference and Lot Number if required.
5. Select the Transport Type of despatches in the lot despatch. Select from:
   • Train
   • Vessel
   • Barge
   • Truck
6. Select the Despatch Location from which the despatches will depart. Select from the discrete unit locations and despatch locations defined on the Supply Chain panel of the Solution Explorer. Despatch locations are rail sidings, truck despatch locations, barge terminals and port locations.
7. Click Save.
