Set up a Data Link Template Category

Data link templates must belong to a data link template category. Data link templates cannot be moved to a different category.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to maintain data link templates security right in the Contracts domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Organisations panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Data Link Templates node.
3. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. To set up a top-level data link category, right-click the Data Link Templates node and select New » Data Link Category from the menu.
   2. To set up a data link sub-category, right-click a data link category and select New » Data Link Category from the menu.
4. Update the name of the data link template category node if required.
5. Click Save.
