Contract and Payable Analyte Charges
Contract Charges
Fixed charges, mass adjustments, premiums, penalties/bonuses, treatment and umpiring charges can be entered for a set of contract terms or added by using a contract charge template. See Contract Charge Templates.
Contract charges can be based upon a fixed, calculated or tier-determined amount, or determined from a premium matrix (see Premium Matrixes). The base price can also be affected by contract charges.
Contract charges can be optional. Applicable optional charges can be selected when invoices are created.
Contract charges are also known in some businesses as 'contract clauses'.
Order of Applying Contract Charges
All specified contract charges are calculated in the order in which they are defined. If any contract charge depends on a previous contract charge, position it after that previous contract charge. For example, payable grade should be determined before any contract charges that depend on the payable grade.
Contract charges can be nested. Child contract charges are rolled up into a single invoice line item.
Payable Analyte Charges
Deductions, payable percentages, price sharing, price participation and refining charges can be entered for a payable analyte in a set of contract terms or added by using a contract charge template. See Contract Charge Templates.
Fixed charges, penalties/bonuses and premiums can also be entered specifically for a payable analyte.
