Unlock Hedge Positions

Hedge position with valuations or settlements can be unlocked; for example, in case the hedge position details need to be edited. However, valuations and settlements can still only be created for locked hedge positions.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to maintain hedge actions security right in the Accounting user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Hedging Explorer.
2. Select the Hedge Actions tab.
3. Find the required hedge positions. See Find Hedge Positions.
4. To unlock a single hedge position, uncheck Locked next to the hedge position in the Hedge Actions field group.
5. To unlock selected hedge positions:
   1. Check Selected next to the applicable hedge positions in the Hedge Actions field group.
   2. Right-click in the Hedge Actions field group and select Unlock all Selected Hedge Actions from the menu.
6. To unlock all hedge positions returned from the search:
   1. Right-click in the Hedge Actions field group and select Select All from the menu.
   2. Right-click in the Hedge Actions field group and select Unlock All Selected Hedge Actions from the menu.
7. Click Save.
