View the Results of a QP Profile Report

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to view QPP Reports security right in the Intelligent Reporting security group for a domain assigned to the user group.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the QP Profile Report.
  2. Select the Results tab.
  3. Select the Display Results As method from:
    • Details
    • Summary
    • Summary Chart
  4. Select other viewing criteria as required.
    • Include Fixed Prices—Whether to include despatch orders and quotas with fixed pricing in the results. Default: Unchecked.
    • Product—Not applicable in the Details view, or if the report includes an analyte in the parameters. Select from the products selected in the report parameters.
    • Analyte Definition—Not applicable in the Details view. Only applicable if the report includes an analyte in the parameters. Select from the analytes selected in the report parameters.
    • Period—Period for which to summarise the results of the report. Not applicable in the Details view. Select from:
      • View By Day—The QP period and its mass are split by day, including only business days as defined in the calendar of the associated price series.
      • View By Month
      • View By Year
  5. If the display method is Details, to view the log file for a line, right-click the line and select Show Log from the menu.

    The QPP Result Log displays. The log file is in XML format. For every despatch order processed, the log includes:

    • The identification of the despatch order (ID and name)
    • Assumptions made for dates (for example, [ETA, 5-Feb-2020])
    • Assumptions made for weight and weight used in the calculation (for example, ["provisional weight", 14523 mt] or ["programmed weight", 14500 mt])
    • Assumptions made for assays and assay values used in the calculation, for each element (for example, [Copper, "provisional assay", 25.7%]; [Gold, "estimated assay", 1.0%]; [Silver, "estimated assay", 150%])
    • Any missing information required in the process (for example, "Final QP definition not found in contract")
  6. If the display method is Details or Summary:
    1. To export the results to Microsoft Excel, right-click the results table and select Export Data To » XLS File from the menu.

      Microsoft Excel opens and displays the results in a new spreadsheet.

    2. To save the results as a CSV, XML or TXT file, right-click the results and select Export Data To » [File Type] from the menu.
  7. If the display method is Summary Chart:
    1. To modify the appearance of the chart:
      1. Right-click the chart and select Show Wizard from the menu.

        The Chart Wizard displays.

      2. Edit the chart properties as required.
      3. Click Accept.
    2. To save the chart as a BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG or TIFF image, right-click the chart and select Save To File from the menu.
