Create a Report

Security Note: You need the Allow report maintenance security right in the Reporting domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Reporting panel in the Solution Explorer.
2. Expand the Report Categories node.
3. Right-click the report category and select New » Report from the menu.

   The Report (configuration) screen displays.

4. Enter the report Name.
5. Select the Template Path from the report templates in the report template folder that is specified in the MineMarket Service configuration.
6. Select the Report Data Provider from:
   • Data Fetched Internally—Uses its own data set to generate the report.
   • Data Fetched Externally—Retrieves the data from the report by directly accessing the report template file.
7. Select whether to Update Subreports.
8. Select whether to Enable Subreports Drill-Down; that is, whether subreports can be opened from the main report by clicking the report section that is the subreport. MineMarket standard reports include the logo and parameters list as subreports. Default for MineMarket standard reports: Unchecked. Default for other reports: Checked.
9. Click Analyse Report.

   The report is analysed: the required tables display in the Data Tables field group on the Data Set Editor tab, and required parameters display in the Parameters field group on the Parameters tab. The report may be further configured.

10. Click Save.
11. Configure report parameters as required. See Report Parameters.
12. Configure report data to specify how each table in the report is to be populated. See Report Data.
