Select Billboard Columns to Display

Your SQL query determines which columns are available for your billboard. You can select which columns to display in the billboard. You can also configure columns to display as hyperlinks to mapped MineMarket objects.

This activity is not applicable to billboards that use an external DLL or a script to obtain data.

Security Note: You need the Allow billboard maintenance security right in the Billboards domain security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

Open the Billboard (configuration).
Select the Configuration tab.
To prevent the left-most columns from scrolling horizontally, enter the number of Freeze Columns.
For each column to display, check Show Column.
To hyperlink column data, select the Associated Type and Map Column for a column that is the ID of a MineMarket object. For example, to hyperlink the name of sales and purchase contracts displayed in a billboard:
- Include both the contract Name and ContractID in the query.
- For the Name column, check Show Column, and leave Associated Type and Map Column blank.
- For the ContractID column, uncheck Show Column, set Associated Type to BaseContract and Map Column to Name.
To format the data in the column:
1. Select the column.
  Note: You cannot format pivoted data columns.
2. Update the following fields as required in the Column Style For [Column Name] field group.
  - Format—Format string used to format the text in each cell of the column. For examples, see:

    - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/standard/base-types/standard-date-and-time-format-strings
  - Text Align—Select from Left, Right and Center.
  - Text Color—Select from a palette of basic colours, preconfigured web colours and system (Windows) colours. In the palette of basic colours, right-click a colour in the bottom two rows to customise a colour with hue/saturation/luminosity or red/green/blue values.
Click Save.
