Domain Security Rights - Samples

Note: The following security rights only apply to objects in the domain(s) to which the user group is assigned. See Domains. Sometimes a combination of security rights is required for an activity. If in doubt, check the security note in the activity. In addition, consider whether any User Group Security Rights - Menu control access to a required screen. Status Definitions may also limit which objects are selectable or editable.

Allow sample maintenance

If assigned:

• Users can create, edit and delete samples via the Sample Explorer, or on a Discrete Unit Batch, Package Group (Bulk), Package Group (DU)
• Users can create, edit and delete composite samples on a Train, Truck Despatch, Service Trip, Shipment or Lot Despatch.
• Users can associate samples with bulk transactions and package movements.
• Users can change the status of samples.

Allow special sample maintenance

If assigned:

• The Solution Explorer context menu options to create, rename and delete special sample categories display.
• Users can create, edit and delete special samples in any Sample Category.
