Rebuild the Search Index

The MineMarket Search Service uses the search index.

Rebuilding the index can also be scheduled via the MineMarket - Service Config application. See the MineMarket Installation Guide for more information.

Security Note: You need the Allow the user to maintain the MineMarket Search Service security right in the Options user group security rights group for this activity.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Options screen.
2. Select the Server Tools tab.
3. Click Rebuild Search Index to start a manual rebuild of the search index, or restart a rebuild if one is already running.

   A warning displays that rebuilding the index can take a long time. While the index is being rebuilt, searching may be slow or return incomplete results.

4. Click Yes.

   A message displays that the rebuilding of the index has begun.

5. Click OK.
6. Click Close.
