Excel Uploader

The MineMarket Excel Uploader is an Excel-based tool to upload new data to a fully configured MineMarket installation.

The Excel Uploader cannot be used to change or delete objects within a MineMarket database.

This guide is intended to assist consultants to install and use the MineMarket Excel Uploader by describing the relevant technical requirements and giving instructions on how to use the tool to upload data to a fully configured MineMarket installation.

This guide does not include information about how to install or configure MineMarket. Please refer the MineMarket Installation Guide for this information.

This guide does not include information about each data worksheet in the Excel Uploader, nor the type of data required for each column (field). Please refer to the MineMarket Help for information about MineMarket screens and fields.

The Excel Uploader consists of many worksheets:

• Mapping—Used to control which data worksheets are uploaded, and also used for quick navigation to individual data worksheets
• CreateDataTables—Used to connect the Excel Uploader to the MineMarket Server/Service, to upload the data to MineMarket, and to view upload status messages
• Lists and AccountSubConceptsLists—Used to display some default object lists, for reference purposes only
• SQL—(No longer used. Was used to run queries to migrate data from MineTrak version 2.4)
• Multiple data worksheets—Used to edit the data that will be uploaded to different object types in MineMarket
