Run the MineMarket Setup Wizard for a Client Installation

Use this activity to run the setup wizard to install the files, folders and desktop shortcuts that are required for the MineMarket Client.

Note: This activity presumes that a MineMarket Server installation is within the domain so that the Client can access the MineMarket Service.

The Client installation mode installs the programs necessary to run MineMarket and connect to an existing MineMarket Service running within the domain. Client connection configuration is required after the installation.

The default installation folder is C:\Program Files\Datamine\MineMarket 5.6

Activity Steps

1. Run the setup file in the MineMarket installation package.

   The setup wizard displays.

2. Click Next.

   Important: The MineMarket setup wizard checks whether some prerequisite components (for example, for Crystal Reports) are installed. If these prerequisite components are not already installed, the MineMarket setup wizard opens a separate installation for them. Follow the prompts if required or contact your System Administrator for assistance.

3. Click Next.
4. Select Custom for a customised installation of the software.
5. Click the MineMarket 5.6 Server Components node and select Entire feature will be unavailable.
6. To change the location of the installation folder:
   1. Select the MineMarket 5.6 Client node.
   2. Click Browse.
   3. Navigate to and select the installation folder.
   4. Click OK.
7. To check the available space on disk drives:
   1. Click Disk Usage.

      A dialog box displays the size and space available on each disk on the installation machine.

   2. Click OK.
8. Click Next.
9. Click Install.
10. Click Finish.
11. Click Close.
