Log on to IMS Integration Hub

Important: See the IMS Integration Hub Installation Guide for information about installing, configuring and starting the IMS Integration Hub Service. The IMS Integration Hub application can only be used in read-only mode when the IMS Integration Hub Service is running. Only one instance of the IMS Integration Hub application can be used in configuration mode (and only when the IMS Integration Hub Service is not running). If another instance of the IMS Integration Hub application is started, it will be in read-only mode.

Activity Steps

1. Perform one of the following steps:
   1. Double-click the IMS Integration Hub icon on the desktop.
   2. Navigate to the IMS Integration Hub installation folder and run DistributionManager.Interface.exe with administrator permissions.

      The IMS Integration Hub Logon screen displays.

2. Select whether to use Windows Integrated Security.
3. If Integrated Security is unchecked, complete the following fields.
   • Username
   • Password
4. To view connection properties, click the Option button.
5. Update the following fields as required.
   • Data Source—For Oracle, this is the alias name. For SQL Server, this is the name of the server to which to connect.
   • Initial Catalog
   • Connection Type—Select from SQLServerNative or OracleODP.
   • Query Timeout—The length of time a select query will be given to execute.
6. Click Login.
