Configure Comparison Calculations

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Comparison Calculations Screen.
  2. Find the row that you want to configure. See View and Filter Comparison Calculations.
  3. Click the row.

    The selected row displays editable fields.

  4. Update the required fields:
    • Calculation Type – Select from:
      • Disabled – The row is not configured for comparison calculations.
      • Actual difference Δ – The comparison uses the actual difference between the configured metrics.
      • Factor – The comparison uses the factor between the configured metrics.
      • Percent Difference – The comparison uses the percent difference between the configured metrics.
    • Decimal Places – Enter the number of decimal places to display in tables and chart labels.
    • 2nd Upper Control Limit – Enter the outer upper tolerance limit if required.
    • 1st Upper Control Limit – Enter the inner upper tolerance limit if required.
    • 1st Lower Control Limit – Enter the inner lower tolerance limit if required.
    • 2nd Lower Control Limit – Enter the outer lower tolerance limit if required.
    • Style Configuration – Select the control limit style to apply to the row. The available styles are configured in the Control Limit Styles Screen.
  5. Review the control limit values:
    • If you select Factor or Percent Difference, suggested control limit values display automatically. Update them if required.
    • If only one set of control limits is required, leave the other set blank.
    • If you change the Calculation Type, update the control limit values manually as required because the existing values are not cleared automatically.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 for any other rows that you want to update before saving.
  7. If you do not want to save the current changes, click Reset to discard the unsaved changes and restore the last saved state.
  8. To apply the changes, click Save.
