Add Comparison

Use this activity to add a configured comparison for use across Reconcilor analysis screens.

Activity Steps

  1. Open the Comparisons Screen.
  2. Click Add Comparison.

    The Add Comparison screen displays.

  3. Complete the following fields as required:
    • Comparison Name – Enter the comparison name. Mandatory.
    • Comparison Abbreviation – Enter the abbreviation used in chart legends and reference lists. Mandatory.
    • From Metric – Select the metric used as MF in the formulas displayed at the bottom of the screen. Mandatory.
    • To Metric – Select the metric used as MT in the formulas displayed at the bottom of the screen. Mandatory.
    • Chart Colour – Leave the field as Unassigned or assign a chart colour. Use the colour picker or enter a Hex, RGBA or HSLA colour code. Click the arrow icons to toggle between the colour code options.

      Note: You can also manage configured colours for comparisons on the Colour Configuration Screen. See Colours.

    • Order Number – Enter the display order number used in reference lists across the analysis screens. Mandatory.

      Note: Entering an order number inserts the configured comparison at that position and moves the later order numbers down automatically.

  4. Select the comparison validity settings as required:
    • Valid for tonnes & volume comparisons – If checked, the configured comparison is available for tonnes and volume comparisons.
    • Valid for attribute comparisons – If checked, the configured comparison is available for attribute comparisons.
    • Valid for metal comparisons – If checked, the configured comparison is available for metal comparisons.
  5. Review the formulas displayed at the bottom of the screen if required. The formulas use MT for To Metric and MF for From Metric.

  6. Click Save.
