Add a User Defined Plane

User defined planes can be used to add planes from measurements that were taken in the field. Also see View and Configure Plane and Trace Properties.

Activity Steps

1. Open the Mapping menu.
2. Select User Defined Plane in the Planes menu group.
3. Left-click the 3D image to set the centroid location of the plane.

   The Plane Definition window displays.

4. Configure the following options as required.
   • Easting (m)
   • Northing (m)
   • Height (m)
   • Dip
   • Dip Direction
   • Persistence (m)
5. Click OK.
