License Services has halted due to a system error.

Error code:

The error code takes the form C00X where the value of  X means:

1 = Corrupt (or missing) license file

2 = Corrupt registry

4 = System date changed.

The values are additive so an error "C005" would refer to a corrupt or missing license file and a changed system date.

License Services shutting down

May occur when trying to start License Services when it is closing down.

Wait until it has closed before starting it.

Local machine requires an upgrade to a Department or Enterprise server. A Desktop server can only have one license per product or component.  Upgrade your server level using a server license key,  or alternatively delete multiple licenses for each product or component.

Unless you have a network license server key, you cannot register more than one license for any single licensable entity.

Register a network license server key, or delete the existing key.

No licenses found with the bind ID specified in this license key

The key you are attempting to register binds it to another license UID, which does not exist on this system.

Apply the key on the system which has the specified UID, or specify the correct UID.

Nothing to do

May occur if an action is repeated by accident, such as registering a key.

For information only - click OK.

Operation can not be performed while the solution is locked

Cannot either add a license to a locked solution or a locked license to an unlocked solution.

Unlock whichever is locked and try again.

The license was not found on the server and has now been removed from the local system

This may occur if an attempt is made to check-in a license to a server from which the license has been deleted.

The license will be removed from the client computer. Reinstall the license on the server to reactivate it.

The lock currently on the license cannot be transferred to the server.  Shut down the relevant application and try again

This may be seen if an attempt is made to check-in a license whilst it is in use.

Close down the software before checking in its license.

There are licenses using this maintenance key. You need to delete all these licenses before removing this key
