Find and Replace
Find and replace has two operating modes:
- In selection – The search is restricted to the highlighted area of the table.
- In entire table – The search applies to the whole table.

Find Tab |
Find what |
Either type the number or alpha sequence to be found or select from the historic drop down. |
|
Search |
Set the search order to either top-to-bottom, left-to-right (by column), or left-to-right, top-to-bottom (by record). |

Regular expression |
Find matches for a regular expression. |
|
|
Match case |
Only match to letters if in the same case. |
|
|
Match entire field contents |
Only match if the entire field contents are identical to the contents of the "Find what:" box. |

Find Next |
Finds the next instance matching the search criterion. |
|
|
Find Prev |
Finds the previous instance matching the search criterion. |
|
|
Replace Tab |
Replace with: |
Type in the value that you wish to insert in place of the "found" value. |
|
Replace |
Replace the value in the current instance matching the search criterion with the "Replace with:" value. |
|
|
Replace All |
Replace all instances matching the search criterion with the "Replace with:" value. |
