Edit Data Records

This describes the record editing functions of adding, inserting and deleting.

Note: Adding records can be much quicker than inserting them because the new record goes at the bottom of the table, rather than at the selected point, which may require a huge volume of data to be temporarily saved

Add a Record

Select Add >> Record command from either the main menu, or the right-click (context) menu to add a record to the bottom of the table.

Tip: You can also use ALT+R to add a record.

Insert a Record

Select Insert >> Record command from either the main menu, or the right-click (context) menu to add a record above the current selection.

Tip: You can also use SHIFT+ALT+R to add a record.

Delete a Record

To delete a record, either select a cell in the record, or the whole record, and select Edit >> Delete Record. You can also right-click a cell and select Delete Record.
