An overview of the Look At mode

Look At

The Look At Mode button is used to:

  • Indicate that Look At Mode is currently set,

  • Toggle off this mode,

  • Set Floating Viewpoint + Look At Mode using a selected point on a 3D Object,

  • Look at a selected point when in Fixed Viewpoint  + View From Inside modes.

View Navigation Controls

The view movements available after Look At Mode has been selected, are listed in Floating Viewpoint  + Look At and Fixed Viewpoint  + View From Inside +  Look At sections of the table on the navigation controls page.

 

To set Floating Viewpoint + Look At Mode:

  1. If in Floating Viewpoint or Fixed Viewpoint + View From Outside modes,

  2. Using theViewribbon, select the Look At button,

  3. In the 3D window, select (click on) a 3D object, or a point on an object.

To cancel Look At mode

  • Using the View ribbon, select the Look At button to disable it if it is enabled
