Fit to Surface

To access this command:

1. Open the Create Surface Roads task and expand the Centerline Vertical Adjustment group.

2. Select Fit to Surface

Automatically project a road string to the nominated topography wireframe, effectively following the shape of the wireframe along its entire length. This can be useful as a starting position for surface road design, particularly centerline adjustment in the horizontal and/or vertical plane.
