Schedule Shapes

Schedule material from selected mining blocks and shapes to meet targets

Schedule Shapes

To access this dialog use one of the following:

  • In the Schedule Activities dialog, find the required [Loading (shapes)] Activity, click the corresponding Schedule... button in the Action column.

The Schedule Shapes dialog is used to schedule the selected mining blocks using the additional control provided by user-defined mining shape outlines (strings).

Field Details:

The following fields are available in this dialog:

Material Movement: the grid in this tab lists the details of the selected mining shapes and their evaluated category results:

If multiple shapes are listed in the grid, the selected shape's records are highlighted in green; click in the grid to select the relevant shape's records. Do this prior to using any of the Priority group commands.

SHAPEID: mining shape outline number.

Category: material category label.

Tonnes: total mass of material (tonnes) lying within the selected active shape(s), for the listed Category. This includes both mined and unmined material.

Available Tonnes: mass of available material (tonnes) lying within the selected active shape(s), for the listed Category. This excludes all mined material.

Destination: material category destination.

Loader: defined loader for that material.

Column Name: user-defined fields present in the reserves table.

Material Routes: the grid in this tab lists details of the selected mining shapes and their evaluated category material route properties:

If multiple shapes are listed in the grid, the selected shape's records are highlighted in green; click in the grid to select the relevant shape's records. Do this prior to using any of the Priority group commands.

SHAPEID: mining shape outline number.

Category: material category label.

Destination: material category destination.

Column Name: standard material route columns.

Destination Summary: summary material destination information for the selected shape(s).

Machine Summary: summary machine information for the selected shape(s).

Blocks Summary: summary mining block by category information for the selected shape(s).

Machine Summary: summary category information for the selected shape(s).

Shapes:

Pick Active Shape: click this button, select an outline (closed string) in the Design window and set it as the active shape.

Transform Shape: click this button, modify the shape, orientation and position of the active shape in the Design window. More...

Recalculate Now: reevaluate the material mass and grades within the active shape. Use this option after the active shape has been modified and the Dynamic Recalculation has not been selected.

Dynamic Recalculation: select this option to automatically reevaluate the material mass and grades within the active shape, if the shape has been modified; default 'selected'.

Priority:

Move Up: move the selected  shape's records up in the grid i.e. give them a higher priority.

Move Down: move the selected  shape's records down in the grid i.e. give them a lower priority.

Remove Shape: remove the shape from the Schedule Shapes grid; optionally delete the associated Mining Shape string.

Options:

Tonnes: select this option to report material by TONNES in the grid.

Volume: select this option to report material by VOLUME in the grid.

Hide Empty Categories: tick this box to hide any Category records in the grid which do not contain any material.

Bench Haul Factor: define a bench haul factor for the listed mining shapes; default '1'.

Schedule:

Schedule: schedule the listed mining shapes using the defined parameters, close the dialog.

Cancel: close the dialog without scheduling shapes.

Mining blocks and shapes are colored as follows:

  • Mined blocks - red

  • Remaining blocks - green

  • Mining shapes - orange

Pre-Scheduled Blocks

The Blender recognises material that has been pre-scheduled to the stockpile. This can occur due to:

    • Stockpile supply in the Stockpile settings dialog

    • Material that has already been scheduled to be reclaimed, prior to running the Blender.

Blending and Targets

On running Blend, a Global Mass Target called TonnesToMine will be created if one does not already exist. The Global Mass Variables for the tonnage sent to each possible destination will also be created and displayed as numerators in the TonnesToMine rate target. If a TonnesToMine target already exists then it will remain unchanged.

The stockpile reclaim tonnage is not automatically included in the TonnesToMine target. If this tonnage is to be included then the Global Mass Variables for stockpile reclaim tonnage must be added to the list of Global Mass Variables and the numerators for these variables changed to 1.0 in the Mass Target dialog.
