Create Line

These lines can be exported for use in other packages.

These lines are stored in your project as if they are added to one of the groups of Annotation Line objects which are automatically set up by your application.

To configure these settings:

1. In 3D Object, select an existing object if you want to add the current string data to it. The list displays all currently available 3D objects.

2. Click New Object to create a new object to contain your string data. Enter a name when prompted. The name must be unique to the current project; the OK button is not enabled until a unique name has been specified.

3. Check Store in Document to store the data in the current project file. Leave it clear to store the data externally later using Data Export routines.

4. Check Close line to create a continuous outline by joining the first and last points of the digitized line. Leave it clear to create an open line.
