Create Data Set

To access this screen:

  • Reserves ribbon >> Create Data Set..

Use this screen to commit your current reserves data to operational scheduling by creating a snapshot that downstream scheduling functions can use.

This task is part of the Reserves workflow.

You can create a new scheduling data set, delete an existing one, rename a data set, or open the Datamine files for a prepared data set.

Activity steps:

  1. Display the Create Data Set screen.

  2. Click New to create a new data set for operational scheduling, or select a data set and click Delete to remove it.

    Note: To rename a data set, overtype the existing description.

  3. Select the data set you have just created.

  4. Click View to open the Datamine files that contain your schedule setup information. Resolve any issues.

  5. Save your project.
