check-crossover-switch ("tcc")

See this command in the command table.

To access this command:

• Pit Design ribbon >> Design > Check Crossovers.

• Using the command line, enter "check-crossover-switch".

• Use the quick key combination "tcc".

• Display the Find Command screen, locate check-crossover-switch and click Run.

Command Overview

Enable or disable automatic checking for crossovers when using pit design commands.

• If enabled, pit design commands that generate new strings automatically check those new strings for crossovers and remove them.

• If disabled, no crossover checking is performed and pit design commands may generate strings with self-crossing elements.

 

Note: Crossover checking will increase processing time, especially where strings have a large number of points. For regular string shapes, you may elect to set crossover checking off, but a wireframe intersection check is still recommended to ensure downstream tasks run smoothly.
