Description

Removes string crossovers in the current view plane.

How to Use

  1. Run the command. You will be prompted from the status bar to "Select string on which to remove crossovers".

  2. Select a string - it will be trimmed to a single perimeter with no crossed lines in the current view plane.

note.gif (1017 bytes) Select a segment on part of the string that is to be retained. Any crossovers (closed-over loops) in the string will be eliminated, by removing those string vertices on the loop formed by each crossover. A new point is created at the original intersection point of each former loop. The position and shape of these crossovers, and hence the action of this command, depends on the orientation of the current view plane.
