Configuring the Quick Access toolbar

Customize (Quick Access Toolbar)

To access this dialog:

Located at the top-left of your screen, and always available, the Quick Access toolbar can be used to create your own group of favorite commands.

This dialog contains functions that allow you to configure your own Quick Access toolbar. In summary, you select the ribbon that contains the command you need, then you add it.

By default, the toolbar contains a Save Project button, but this can be disabled in the context-menu menu and/or replaced with whichever commands you like.

The same dialog is used to remove buttons and to assign shortcut keys to these commands.

The Customize dialog is a multi-tab dialog, split into the following sections:

  • Quick Access Toolbar (described here)
  • Customize Ribbon (described here)
  • Tools (described here)
