Manage Areas

This activity is used to configure areas for pits displayed on the Pits Settings pane. Areas are assigned to the Current Pit.

Activity Steps:

1. To create a new area for the current pit:

   1. Click New.

      A new area is added to the list with an "Area " prefix and a numeric suffix.
      

2. To delete an existing area:

   1. Select the area you wish to delete in the list.

   2. Click Delete.
      

      Warning: Deleting an area will remove all data stored within it. This cannot be undone.

3. To rename an existing area:

   1. Select the item to rename in the list.

   2. Either click Rename or select the same field again to make the field contents editable.

   3. Modify the area name.
      

      Note: Area names must be unique to the pit to which they are assigned. You can't create an area with a name that matches one that already exists.
      

4. Click OK to return to Pits Settings.
