Define Pits

Manage pits, areas and area benches of the current database.

Activity Steps:

1. Open the Settings screen.
2. Select the Database Settings >> Pits tab.
3. Change the current data scope for your project by updating these fields:
   • Current Pit
   • Current Area
   • Benches

   As each selection is made, dependent items update. For example, Benches values correspond to the Current Area.

4. To add, edit or delete an option, activate the corresponding Manage task:

   1. Manage Pits
   2. Manage Areas
   3. Manage Benches

5. Click OK to update your current project session.
   
   Updated options appear in associated reporting and publishing tasks.
