Add New Template Directories

The Directories window is used to manage Template directories. Directories that are enabled display as options when adding or creating templates. See Create a Template and Add a Template to a Project.

Activity Steps

1. Select the Options Tab in the Component Options window.
2. Select Templates in the Library tab.
3. Select the Directories tab at the bottom of the Main Canvas.
4. Configure the options in the Directories Table as required.
   • Enable – Whether the auto-create entry is active.
   • Name – Name of the entry. By default this is set to the name of the selected template file (minus the 'templ' extension).
   • For component – The component that the auto-create template is applied to. Read-only.
   • ... – Select a template file.
   • Template Path – The full path of the template file. Automatically filled once a template file is selected.
   • Module – The name of the module associated with the For component field.
   • Comment – Optional comment.
   • Component Type – Type of component on which the auto-create template is applied. Read-only.
