Configure the Missing Tab

The 3D Missing tab allows you to control the way that missing data is displayed in the 3D window.

Note: Missing values only display for Data Loader and Data View components, and not Data Column components.

Activity Steps

  1. Select the Data Component with associated 3D data from the Project Tree.
  2. Select the 3D Viewer tab at the top of the Main Canvas.
  3. Select the Missing tab in the Property Panel.
  4. Configure the following options as required.
    • Missing count – Total number of missing values. Read-only.
    • Show missing
    • Missing Colour – Colour of missing data in the 3D window. Only available if Show missing is checked.
    • Missing Size – Size of missing data in the 3D window. Only available if Show missing is checked.
    • Show locations with values – Show locations with no missing data. Only available if Show missing is checked.
    • Monochrome – Show data that is not missing in a specified colour. Only available if Show locations with values is checked.
    • Not Missing Colour – Only available if Monochrome is checked.
    • Column – Column for which missing data is reported.
    • Auto – Use the column selected in the Colour tab for missing data.
    • Strings with missing data field group – Only available when a String column is selected in the Configure the String Tab.
      • Any strings – Show all strings that pass the filter.
      • Shown strings – Number of strings matching the missing criteria. Read-only.
      • One or more missing values – Show only strings that have one or more missing values for the Missing column.
      • Only missing values – Show only strings that have no data for the selected missing column.
      • No missing values – Show only strings that have no missing data for the selected missing column.
