Configure Kriging Neighbourhood Analysis Block Parameters
The Params tab controls grouped options for configuring the KNA (Kriging Neighbourhood Analysis) component. Configuring these parameters is an optional step during the KNA refinement process. See Refining a Kriging Neighbourhood Analysis.
Activity Steps
- Select the KNA component from the Project Tree.
- Select the Params tab from the Property Panel.
- Configure the following options as required.
- Block Centroid field group – Centre point of the KNA block. Read-Only.
- Search Angle field group:
- Angle 1 – Search angle in the Z direction for Kriging estimation. Only available if Use Continuity Models is unchecked.
- Angle 2 – Search angle in the X direction for Kriging estimation. Only available if Use Continuity Models is unchecked.
- Angle 3 – Search angle in the Y direction for Kriging estimation. Only available if Use Continuity Models is unchecked.
- Use Continuity Models – Whether to use angles from the associated continuity model.
- Search Range field group:
- Dir 1 – Z direction used to define the search parameters used by the Kriging estimation. Only available if Use Continuity Models is unchecked.
- Dir 2 – X direction used to define the search parameters used by the Kriging estimation. Only available if Use Continuity Models is unchecked.
- Dir 3 – Y direction used to define the search parameters used by the Kriging estimation. Only available if Use Continuity Models is unchecked.
- Use Continuity Models – Whether to use directions from the associated continuity model.
- Samples field group:
- Min – Minimum number of samples used to estimate each point. Default: 2.
- Max – Maximum number of samples used to estimate each point. Default: 100.
- Max Samples per Drill Hole – Whether to set a maximum number of samples per drill hole.
- Block Discretisation field group:
- X – Discretisation in the X direction.
- Y
- Z
- Multi-Block KNA field group:
- Tolerance Distance (X) – Tolerance Distance away from the data in the X direction used to restrict the blocks and avoid excessive extrapolation beyond the data.
- Tolerance Distance (Y)
- Tolerance Distance (Z)
- Minimum Coordinates field group:
- X – Minimum coverage of the KNA blocks in the X direction.
- Y
- Z
- Minimum Coordinates field group:
- X – Maximum coverage of the KNA blocks in the X direction.
- Y
- Z
- Enable – Whether to apply Multi-Block KNA,
